English Title: After Death.
Synopsis: A young scholar that lives a secluded life goes out one night and meets an actress.
Appraisal: The first, more upbeat part of the film, impresses for some finely composed frames and a remarkable dolly sequence at a party. The morbid undertones that become prominent in the second part are illustrated with some genuinely eerie imagery. All in all, an engaging film that constitutes a real achievement for its age. Additional kudos go to the excellent score composed for the film.
