Synopsis: A soldier gets into trouble for a woman.
Appraisal: This short film has some pretty inventive gags and is surely worth watching, but it is somewhat flawed as a whole. This stems perhaps from the mismatch between the tragic story and the comedic approach. Unlike, for example, "The Bank" and "The Tramp", made in the same year, where comedy and drama mix in a harmonic way, here they are too incompatible.
