Appraisal: This is a deliciously ingenious episode of the famous TV series. This was actually the first filmed (but the second aired) episode of the regular series following two pilots (in 1968 and 1971). The character had in fact first appeared even earlier (in 1960) in another TV show. Written by the very creators of the character, 'Death Lends a Hand' is a complex plot that won't let go of the viewer's attention. This episode has an imaginative sequence where two simultaneous screens are set in the glasses' lenses of one character. The talented actors add to the quality of the show.
