Synopsis [spoilers]: Herman and Grandpa are working on a birthday present for Eddie; they want to make it a surprise, therefore no one is allowed in the garage, which is where they are working. Both Eddie and Lily try to peek inside but they are caught by traps which had been placed to prevent it. The present is a little car for Eddie to drive; Herman wants to test drive it, and, on doing so, he wrecks it. A discussion ensues between him and Grandpa; the latter expels Herman from the house, and Herman replies that it is his house; Grandpa reminds him that he has helped pay it, so it's half his; Herman then decides to draw a line dividing the house in two; each of them must keep to his part of the house. Lily scolds them both and urges them to make up and make a new present for Eddie, which they do: it's a flying car this time.
