Synopsis [spoilers]: Pugsley and Wednesday go to the Pomeroys' kid's birthday party; they live next door to him; Pugsley and Wednesday take a tarantula for present. They return early, complaining that the kid insulted the Addams. Later, Mr. Pomeroy and his son show up at the Addams'; Mr. Pomeroy demands an apology from Pugsley for punching his son in the eye. Wednesday apologizes since it was her who actually punched him. The Addams invite Mr. Pomeroy for a cup of tea; he reveals that he is in the oil business (lubricants, not fuel), and that he has had his family tree traced, and is very proud of his ancestors. The Addams' eccentricities soon begin to freak him out and the fact that Pugsley and Wednesday were playing with the gallows and Pomeroy's son was the hanged one makes him stand up and leave with his son. The Addams decide to trace their own family tree; the genealogist indiscreetly reveals that among Pomeroy's descendants there were some real scoundrels; that fact restores the Addams' esteem for their neighbor, and Mr. Pomeroy himself is keen on reconciliation since he is interested in a piece of land of the Addams' which he believes contains oil. He is invited over again, and makes an offer, which rises every time Gomez mentions one of Pomeroy's scoundrel ancestors; they eventually reach an agreement. When the Addams introduce their lion pet, Pomeroy and his kid leave in a hurry. Gomez comments to Morticia that he has had that land probed for oil and none was found. Later on, the lion eats the genealogist.
Saw it dubbed in Portuguese.
