Synopsis [spoilers]: Fester reads an article saying that couples that never fight are very unstable, so he fears for Morticia and Gomez; he tries to make them fight without success. He then goes to the author of the article, a French psychologist named Chalon, and hires him to come to the mansion under the pretense of being an old school acquaintance ("I was in a course by mail", he says). He meets the family ("Oh, how sad", he says to Wednesday, "your doll lost her head." "No", she answers, "it's Marie Antoinette -- I decapitated her."). He falls for Morticia; Fester urges Gomez to do something. Gomez challenges Chalon for a sword duel. Before the fatal hour arrives, Chalon gives up and leaves; he has come to the conclusion that they really are a perfect couple.
