Synopsis [spoilers]: A couple of newlyweds, the Petersons, move next door to the Addams, to a house which belongs to the Addams. They are startled by the horrible sound of explosions coming from the Addams' house; it's uncle Fester playing with dynamite. They visit the Addams to inquire about the explosions. Later they are visited by uncle Fester, who enters their house through the trapdoor and is greeted with a blow to the head by Mrs. Peterson. The couple wants to move out, but are bound by a one-year contract. They visit the Addams for a game of bridge in the hopes of convincing the Addams to free them from their contractual obligations. The Addams give them several pieces of their living room decoration, out of sheer generosity. Mr. Peterson tells Gomez that the reason they want to move out is that he was assigned to work in Hong Kong; Gomez assures him he will take care of that, and he does: he buys the company. The Addams' gifts are seen lying on the Peterson's front lawn; the Petersons have not been seen for three days. Gomez thinks they are enjoying their honeymoon and don't want to be disturbed.
