The Goldbergs: Money for Seeds (1938) (radio)

Synopsis [spoilers]: Molly tries to raise money to make a mail order of flower seeds which she intends to sell for profit. For some reason which I didn't understand, there is a deadline for the placement of the order, and she will only meet it by posting it on that same day. She doesn't have the money, but, when all seems lost, all her friends contribute (I didn't understand how exactly this happens) and the required sum is achieved. She doesn't have the money for the mailing fee, which is a few cents, so the postman himself pays for it -- he wants it back in seeds.

Comment: As you probably have gathered from the above synopsis, it was impossible for me to understand what was being said at certain spots.
