Synopsis [spoilers]: The education officer goes to the Addams's with the mission to urge them to put their kids in school. He is so terrified with everything and everyone in the house that he gives up his intent and flees the house in a hurry. The children get sent to school all the same, but their parents get horrified by the violence in the fairy tales they are told in school -- e.g. dragons being slain, the old woman being baked by Hansel and Gretel, etc..
This is the first episode of this series based on Charles Addams's cartoons published mainly in the 30's in the New Yorker magazine.
