Jade (1995)

Synopsis: A man is murdered; in his safe are found photos of the governor with a prostitute; one of the suspects is a woman with whom the detective in charge of the investigations had an affair.

Appraisal: Mildly entertaining crime drama; the car chase is the high point; on the whole, it is well filmed and the plot keeps the interest, even though it's hard to make sense of it at some points. I didn't see the director's cut, which contains 12 additional minutes.
