The Door in the Floor (2004)

Synopsis: A writer that has had a terrible loss in the family receives a young aspiring writer for a summer apprenticeship.

Appraisal: Drama that has rare moments of interest and mostly drags itself in a rather uninspired way. To be completely honest, one particular sequence, set in a photoshop, left me completely in the dark. It may be of some interest to note that both The Adventures of Sebastian Cole (1998) and The World According to Garp (1982) have a transsexual character.
