I have written the following review on April 17, 1987. It has been translated from the Portuguese.
I do not share the critics' opinion on this film, just as I did not share their opinion on 'Il Portiere di notte', also directed and written by Liliana Cavani. Although inferior to "Il Portiere...", 'The Berlin Affair' is an often interesting and involving passional story.
