Synopsis: A massive star is on a collision course with the Earth and scientists must come up with a plan to avoid it.
Appraisal: This is a decent science fiction film, with a good story that entertains and never falls into ridiculousness. Even with the primitive special effects, this is a far superior film than the later, similarly themed, "Armageddon". The version I watched was dubbed in English and featured no giant walrus.
